Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a un método para reducir la energía consumida mediante un dispositivo de recepcion empleado en un sistema de comunicacion de datos que tiene al menos un mensaje transmitido una pluralidad de veces, teniendo el mensaje asociado y una indicacion de repeticion asociada, en donde el tipo de mensaje y la indicacion de repeticion son transmitidos antes del mensaje y la indicacion de repeticion es verdadera cuando el mensaje es una transmision de repeticion, teniendo el dispositivo de repeticion un receptor capaz de recibir el tipo de mensaje transmitido, la indicacion de repeticion y el mensaje, comprendiendo el método las etapas de: recibir la indicacion de repeticion transmitida; determinar si la indicacion de repeticion recibida es verdadera; iniciar un conteo cuando la indicacion de repeticion recibida no es verdadera; determinar si el mensaje transmitido fue previamente recibido cuando la indicacion de repeticion recibida es verdadera, por lo que se recibe el tipo de mensaje transmitido; determinar si el tipo de mensaje recibido se relaciona con un tipo de mensaje recibido previamente; iniciar el conteo cuando el mensaje transmitido no ha sido recibido previamente; determinar si el conteo es mayor a un límite cuando el mensaje transmitido ha sido recibido previamente; iniciar el conteo cuando el conteo es mayor que el límite; incrementar el conteo en uno cuando el conteo es menor o igual al límite, por lo que se cuenta el numero de mensajes no recibidos porque fueron recibidos; a apagar al menos por un periodo predeterminado de tiempo, el receptor, cuando la indicacion de repeticion recibida es verdadera y el mensaje transmitido ha sido previamente recibido, por lo que se reduce la energía consumida por el dispositivo receptor.
