Abstract
La presente invención proporciona una composición sellante, método de producción del mismo, capas de película y estructuras de múltiples capas hechas por los mismos. La composición de polietilerio lineal de baja densidad adecuado para aplicaciones sellantes según la presente invención comprende: menos de o igual a 100 por ciento en peso de las unidades derivadas de etileno; menos de 35 por ciento en peso de unidades derivadas de uno o más comonómeros de a-olefina; en el que dicha composición de polietileno lineal de baja densidad tiene una densidad en el intervalo de 0.900 a 0.920 g/cm3, una distribución de peso molecular (MW/MN) en el intervalo de 2.5 a 4.5, un índice de fusión (I2) en el rango de 0.5 a 3 g/10 minutos, una distribución de peso molecular (MZ/MW) en el intervalo de 2.2 a 3, insaturación de vinilo de menos de 0.1 vinilos por cada mil átomos de carbono presentes en la cadena principal de dicha composición, y una relación de viscosidad de cizallamiento cero (ZSVR) en el intervalo de 1 a 1.2.
