Abstract
Se divulga un mecanismo (5) de relación de compresión variable en el cual un eje (10) de control es rotado y accionado por un motor (21) eléctrico a través de un reductor (22) de engranajes de ondas. El reductor (22) de engranajes de ondas incluye: un primer miembro (31) de engranaje interno; un miembro (32) de engranaje externo fijado concéntricamente dentro del miembro (31) de engranaje interno; un generador (33) de ondas fijado dentro del miembro (32) de engranaje externo; y un segundo miembro (34) de engranaje interno, en donde una relación del número de dientes de una porción (35) de engranaje fija del primer miembro (31) de engranaje interno al número de dientes de una primera porción (37) de engranaje del miembro (32) de engranaje externo se establece menor que una relación del número de dientes de una porción (42) de engranaje del lado de salida del segundo miembro (34) de engranaje interno al número de dientes de una segunda porción (38) de engranaje del miembro (32) de engranaje externo. De esta manera, la profundidad de diente de la porción (42) de engranaje del lado de salida del segundo miembro (34) de engranaje interno se hace relativamente grande a fin de lograr un mayor momento de torsión de efecto trinquete y prevenir el efecto trinquete.
