Abstract
Se describe un método, un programa de ordenador y un aparato para la identificación de señales reflejadas con posterioridad a su reflexión dentro de un medio. El método comprende la obtención de señales de retorno (100), que resultan a partir de mediciones que se realizan durante un periodo de medición. El periodo de medición comprende subperíodos, comprendiendo las señales de retorno señales reflejadas y ruido. La pluralidad de señales de retorno se dividen en conjuntos plurales (220) de igual cardinalidad o tan iguales como sea posible de tal manera que su cardinalidad no difiera en más de uno. Un valor de correlación apilado se determina (130) para las señales de retorno mediante la determinación de la media de las señales de retorno a través de los conjuntos plurales (230) y determinando un valor de correlación de los conjuntos plurales a lo largo de cada uno de los subperíodos de tiempo (240). Los picos en la variación del valor de correlación apilado a lo largo del tiempo pueden ser identificados a continuación y cada uno de los picos de la variación del valor de correlación apilados a lo largo del tiempo se puede atribuir a una señal reglejada.
