Abstract
Método para la producción de urea a partir de amoniaco y dióxido de carbono en una planta de urea que contiene una sección de síntesis a presión alta con un condensador de piscina horizontal, en donde el método comprende el intercambio térmico desde un medio de proceso a presión alta recibido en una sección de la carcasa del condensador de piscina hacia una solución que contiene urea a presión media recibida en una primera sección de intercambio térmico provista en el condensador de piscina para por lo menos descomponer el carbamato de amonio en NH3 y CO2, en donde el método comprende además el intercambio térmico desde el medio de proceso a presión alta hacia un condensado de vapor de agua a baja presión recibido en una segunda sección de intercambio térmico provista en el condensador de piscina para producir vapor de agua a baja presión; la invención también se relaciona con un aparato para la producción de urea a partir de amoniaco y dióxido de carbono.
