Abstract

La presente invención se dirige a composiciones curables que forman películas y kits de recubrimiento que comprenden: (a) un poliisocianato; (b) una dispersión que comprende un polímero disperso en un medio orgánico y preparado a partir de un monómero etilénicamente insaturado que tiene grupos funcionales que reaccionan con el poliisocianato (a); y opcionalmente (c) un promotor de la adhesión. El medio orgánico comprende un diluyente que tiene grupos funcionales que reaccionan con el poliisocianato (a), donde el diluyente comprende al menos uno de aceite de ricino, un diol de ácido graso dimerizado, un aceite de poliolefina ramificada hidroxilo funcional, un diol a base de líquido de castaña de cajú (CNSL), un poliol a base de policaprolactona; y un poliol alcoxilado que comprende un grupo hidroxilo. La composición curable que forma películas tiene un contenido de sólidos de al menos 45 por ciento en peso y demuestra una viscosidad de como máximo 100 centipoise (100 mPas). La presente invención también se dirige a artículos recubiertos y componentes de vehículos que comprenden la composición que forma películas.
