Abstract
Se describe un proceso para la hidrodesulfuración de una fracción olefínica de gasolina que contiene azufre, en el que tal fracción de gasolina se pone en contacto con hidrógeno y un catalizador que comprende un metal del grupo VIB, un metal del grupo VIII y un soporte de alúmina mesoporoso y macroporoso que comprende una distribución bimodal de mesoporos y en el cual: - el volumen de mesoporos de diámetro superior o igual a 2 nm e inferior a 18 nm corresponde a entre el 10 y el 30% en volumen, del volumen total de poros de tal soporte; - el volumen de mesoporos de diámetro superior o igual a 18 nm e inferior a 50 nm corresponde a entre el 30 y el 50% en volumen, del volumen total de poros de tal soporte; - el volumen de los macroporos de diámetro superior o igual a 50 nm e inferior a 8000 nm corresponde a entre el 30 y el 50% en volumen, del volumen total de los poros de tal soporte.
