Abstract
Un compresor multietapas para comprimir un fluido, el compresor comprende: dos o más cilindros que tienen cada uno una cámara de compresión y un pistón, de manera que el fluido en cada una de las cámaras de compresión puede ser comprimido por el pistón asociado; los cilindros están conectados en serie, de manera que un fluido que entra por una entrada del compresor puede ser comprimido a una primera presión en la cámara de compresión de un primer cilindro y, a continuación, entrar en la cámara de compresión de un segundo cilindro en donde el fluido comprimido es comprimido a una segunda presión más alta y, antes de que el fluido salga por una salida del compresor; en donde cada pistón es impulsado por una y la misma biela de cigüeñal del compresor; además se describe un método para comprimir un fluido, y un sistema que comprende el compresor multietapas.
