Abstract

Se describen proteínas insecticidas novedosas que son tóxicas para plagas de lepidópteros. El ADN que codifica las proteínas insecticidas se puede utilizar para transformar organismos procariotas y eucariotas con el fin de que expresen las proteínas insecticidas. Los organismos recombinantes o las composiciones que contienen los organismos recombinantes o las proteínas insecticidas por sí solas o combinadas con un portador agrícola adecuado se pueden utilizar para controlar plagas de lepidópteros en varios entornos.
