Abstract
Se dan a conocer composiciones que comprenden una emulsión polimérica de acrilamida y un surfactante no iónico, adecuadas para su uso como reductores de fricción para fracturación hidráulica. Los surfactantes no iónicos incluyen etoxilatos de fenoles aralquilados, etoxilatos de aminas, etoxilatos de amidoaminas, alcoxilatos EO/PO de alcoholes lineales o ramificados, alcoholes etoxilados, etoxilatos de alquilfenoles y copolímeros de bloques de poli(oxipropileno) finalizado con EO. También se describen procesos de fracturación hidráulica mejorados en los cuales una emulsión polimérica de acrilamida se utiliza como reductor de fricción. En estos procesos, el surfactante se incluye en la composición con el reductor de fricción de polímero de acrilamida, o se introduce por separado en el proceso. El rendimiento de los reductores de fricción de poliacrilamida de bajo costo puede potenciarse con una pequeña proporción de ciertos surfactantes no iónicos fácilmente disponibles. Las composiciones inventivas son efectivas en entornos de alta salinidad, y su rendimiento a veces puede exceder el de los reductores de fricción con tolerancia a sales más costosos, lo que en consecuencia reduce la demanda de agua dulce y posibilita una mayor utilización de agua producida.
