Abstract

The present invention relates to a lid for containers, which comprises a cylindrical body that comprises a cylindrical skirt (5) and a rib (7), on the inner face thereof, wherein the cylindrical skirt and the rib are sized so as to be in contact with the inside face of the neck (2) of the container and to create at least two sealing areas.
