Abstract
La invención proporciona un elemento de intercambio de calor que comprende un sustrato y un recubrimiento, en donde el recubrimiento está presente sobre por lo menos una parte de la trayectoria de flujo definida por el elemento de intercambio de calor. El recubrimiento comprende un metal y tiene una estructura que comprende espigas que tienen una longitud de hasta 100 µm; el promedio en longitud de las espigas varía en el recubrimiento. La invención también proporciona un método de transferencia de calor hacia o desde un fluido el cual comprende suministrar el fluido en una trayectoria de flujo del elemento de intercambio de calor de la invención. La invención proporciona además un proceso para producir un elemento de intercambio de calor de la invención, en donde el proceso comprende proporcionar una solución de deposición no electrolítica a una superficie de un sustrato. La invención proporciona además un proceso de flujo para producir un elemento de intercambio de calor y un elemento de intercambio de calor obtenido o que se puede obtener por este proceso.
