Abstract
Se someten aguas residuales a un tratamiento aeróbico en un procedimiento que comprende: (a) suministrar un afluente de líquido que comprende aguas residuales a un reactor que contiene biomasa granular; (b) someter la mezcla de reacción a condiciones aeróbicas que comprenden una concentración de oxígeno disuelto en el intervalo de 0,1 mg/l a 4,0 mg/l, y un tiempo de retención hidráulica en el intervalo de 0,5 a 72 horas; (c) separar la mezcla de reacción en biomasa granular y aguas residuales tratadas; y (d) reciclar la biomasa granular separada en la mezcla de reacción.
