Abstract

Se describen los sistemas y métodos para detectar y secuestrar analitos objetivo en una muestra fluida. El sistema comprende un depósito de especímenes a granel para recibir una muestra líquida, junto con materiales paramagnéticos operativos para unirse selectivamente al analito objetivo de interés. Un vértice está interconectado con el depósito de muestra a granel para definir un montaje de cámara de espécimen en el que se despliega una cámara magnética alrededor de la porción de vértice de la misma y operativo para secuestrar las partículas magnéticas, así como cualquier analito de interés enlazado al mismo, dentro del interior del vértice. Una vez que se deja suficiente tiempo para mezclar y permitir que la cápsula magnética retenga suficientemente las partículas magnéticas dentro del vértice, el vértice se desconecta del depósito de la muestra y los materiales paramagnéticos retenidos en el mismo se analizan para determinar la presencia del analito de interés.
