Abstract
Un sistema y método para deshidratar petróleo crudo en una instalación de producción, almacenamiento y descarga flotante incluye un recipiente separador (20) para recibir una corriente de agua producida entrante (15), seguida por un recipiente de vaporización (30), un bloque de tratamiento, un tanque de almacenamiento de petróleo crudo (60) y un tratador electrostático (70). El bloque de tratamiento incluye un desgasificador de baja presión (40) seguido por un pretratador de separador electrostático compacto (50) o un pretratador de separador electrostático compacto (50) seguido por un desgasificador de baja presión (40).
