Abstract
Un proceso para mantener la aleación de aluminio fundido en un recipiente revestido de material refractario usando elementos de calentamiento dispuestos dentro de tubos de calentamiento por inmersión de cerámica para proporcionar metal de temperatura precisa para la industria de fundición. El recipiente está forrado con múltiples espesores de materiales refractarios de alto aislamiento para minimizar la pérdida de calor con esquinas contorneadas para permitir un flujo suave del metal circulante proporcionado por un engranaje con eje giratorio e impulsor. Los elementos de calentamiento están alojados en un tubo de protección de cerámica para evitar fugas de aluminio que podrían provocar la falla del elemento. Los pozos de recepción y salida están separados por arcos refractarios. Se usa una cubierta purgada de gas inerte aislada sobre la cámara de calor para reducir la pérdida de calor y permitir un gas de purga inerte para minimizar la oxidación de la superficie. Un termopar para control de temperatura se coloca en la cámara de salida. Se proporciona un tapón de drenaje de cerámica para eliminar el metal para su mantenimiento.
