Abstract

La invención se relaciona a composiciones acuosas de adhesivo que comprenden un almidón, en particular a adhesivos a base de almidón para adherir productos de papel. Se proporciona una composición acuosa de adhesivo que comprende un derivado de almidón y una arcilla, en donde el derivado de almidón es un almidón altamente ramificado (HBS) obtenido por tratamiento de almidón o derivados de almidón con una enzima de ramificación de glicógeno (EC 2.4.1.18), y en donde la proporción en peso del HBS a la arcilla está dentro del intervalo de aproximadamente 1:1 a 1:4.
