Abstract

Se describe una matriz para identificar la leche materna carente de glicanos dependientes de la fucosiltransferasa-2 (FUT2) que comprende una línea con una proteína de unión a glicanos, tal como una lectina, o anticuerpo adecuados para unir 2'fucosilglicanos y una línea de un control positivo para unirse a una proteína de leche materna. Por ejemplo, esta matriz es porosa y permite el transporte por fuerza capilar de los compuestos de la leche materna, tales como glicoproteínas. Particularmente, la proteína de unión a glicanos es la lectina de la planta Ulex europaeus. Se describe un kit de diagnóstico que comprende una o más de tales matrices y, además, un dispositivo adecuado para recibir una matriz provista de una ventana para la aplicación de la leche y una ventana de lectura. Por último, se describe un kit de partes que comprende un kit de diagnóstico de este tipo y una o más dosis de alimentación de 2'fucosilglicanos.
