Abstract
Un sistema de adquisición y posicionamiento de láminas de vidrio y un método asociado se utilizan en un sistema de inspección óptica de láminas de vidrio instalado en línea en un sistema de procesamiento de láminas de vidrio. El sistema de adquisición y posicionamiento incluye un bastidor de soporte exterior y un bastidor de soporte de láminas de vidrio móvil conectado al bastidor de soporte exterior, de modo que el bastidor de soporte de láminas de vidrio se pueda situar de manera selectiva entre una primera orientación, en la cual se retira una lámina de vidrio de un transportador y se retiene en el bastidor de soporte, y una segunda orientación, en la cual la lámina de vidrio se sitúa para su procesamiento mediante el sistema de inspección óptica. El sistema también puede incluir un identificador de piezas de tipo lamina de vidrio y un control programable que incluye la lógica para analizar los datos de la imagen adquirida e identificar la lámina de vidrio como una de un conjunto de tipos de piezas conocidas y posteriormente situar y fijar la lámina de vidrio en el bastidor de soporte de láminas de vidrio en función del análisis del perfil de la pieza.
