Abstract

Se describe un sistema en el cual una MME por defecto recibe un mensaje de NAS de un dispositivo móvil; envía una solicitud de reenrutamiento a una estación base que sirve al dispositivo móvil e incluye información que identifica un grupo de MME dedicadas a las cuales debe reenrutarse el mensaje de NAS. Si ninguna de las MME se encuentra disponible, entonces la MME por defecto recibe un mensaje de la estación base, el mensaje de reenrutamiento del mensaje de NAS a la MME por defecto (en lugar de una MME dedicada). La MME por defecto procede ya sea para servir el dispositivo móvil o para que la MME por defecto rechace el mensaje NAS.
