Abstract
Un sistema de vehículo incluye al menos un sensor de conducción autónomo programado para producir señales del entorno que representan un entorno alrededor de un vehículo autónomo y señales de detección de objetos que representan un objeto o persona en una superficie exterior del vehículo autónomo. El sistema de vehículo incluye además un controlador de modo autónomo programado para controlar de forma autónoma el vehículo autónomo de acuerdo con las señales del entorno producidas por el sensor de conducción autónomo, detectar el objeto o persona en la superficie exterior del vehículo autónomo de acuerdo con las señales de detección de objetos, y limitar el funcionamiento autónomo del vehículo autónomo en respuesta a la detección del objeto o persona en la superficie exterior del vehículo autónomo.
