Abstract
Se describe un dispositivo de protección de empalme de fibra óptica, que comprende: un encierro que incluye una cubierta y un chasis; y una unidad de manejo de encaminamiento de fibra, montada en el chasis del encierro, en donde la unidad de manejo de encaminamiento de fibra comprende: una lámina inferior; recortadores flexibles, que se montan de forma removible en la parte superior de la lámina inferior; y un miembro desviador resiliente, montado en el chasis del encierro, para aplicar fuerza elástica de desviación a la lámina inferior, en donde la lámina inferior se presiona contra los forros de los cables que se van a empalmar bajo la acción del miembro desviador elástico para impedir el arrollamiento y desorden de los forros de cable; y en donde las fibras ópticas de los cables que se van a empalmar se enrolla por arriba de la lámina de fondo y a lo largo de una ruta sin pérdida de flexión definida por los recortadores flexibles. La descripción evita el fenómeno de arrollamiento y desorden de la fibra óptica y del forro de la fibra óptica e incrementa el espacio del arrollamiento del cable.
