Abstract

La presente descripción se dirige a métodos, metodologías, dispositivos, equipos, y sistemas para minimizar o reducir la contaminación en instalaciones que ponen en práctica procesos de fermentación o de destilación. En algunas modalidades, los métodos, metodologías, dispositivos, equipos y sistemas pueden usarse para aplicar técnicas de mitigación de la contaminación de limpieza en el lugar (CIP) que pueden incluir técnicas de mitigación por esterilización en el lugar (SIP) para descontaminar los equipos que incluyen las superficies de los equipos que entran en contacto con los materiales usados en la producción de alcoholes producidos. Además, se describen otras técnicas de limpieza y de minimización de contaminación.
