Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un catéter de globo para el tratamiento de vasos alargados afectados y de diámetro variable, con un globo (1) pre-expandido y un eje de catéter el cual forma un lumen para alambre adecuado para hacer avanzar un alambre guía, así como un lumen para líquido a través del cual el globo (1) puede alimentarse con líquido. El globo (1) está fijado en un primer punto de fijación proximal (3) a un primer elemento del catéter (5, 5') y en un segundo punto de fijación distal (2) está fijado a un segundo elemento del catéter (4, 12); el segundo punto de fijación (2) es desplazable respecto al primer punto de fijación (3) a lo largo del eje longitudinal del eje del catéter. El globo (1) rodea un segmento del eje del catéter que se extiende entre el primer y el segundo puntos de fijación (3, 2). El segmento del eje del catéter rodeado por el globo (1), al modificarse la extensión longitudinal del globo (1), cubre distintas áreas del eje del catéter.
