Abstract

Una arena para gatos biodegradable, aglutinable hecha de componentes de mazorca de maíz y de biomasa. La arena es una mezcla de partículas de baja capacidad de hinchamiento y gránulos o fragmentos de los mismos de material de alta capacidad de hinchamiento. Las partículas de baja capacidad de hinchamiento se forman de grano de mazorca. Las partículas y gránulos, si están presentes, de recubren con aceite mineral al que se adhieren a un agente aglutinación. Las partículas de baja capacidad de hinchamiento componen del 70% - 1000% y el resto es una mezcla que se compone de los gránulos de alta capacidad de hinchamiento o fragmentos de los mismos.
