Abstract

Un gabinete de contención de alimentos que tiene por lo menos una cámara de calentamiento para contener por lo menos una bandeja de alimentos en la misma, el gabinete comprende: un alojamiento que define la cámara de calentamiento y una abertura de cámara de calentamiento para el acceso a la cámara de calentamiento, en donde la cámara de calentamiento comprende una parte superior, una parte delantera, una parte trasera, y por lo menos una ubicación de bandeja para recibir una bandeja de alimentos; una placa de chorro que incluye una pluralidad de aberturas, la placa de chorro está dispuesta entre la cámara de calentamiento y una cámara de distribución de aire superior, en donde la cámara de distribución de aire superior está formada entre una superficie superior de la placa de chorro y una superficie inferior de la parte superior de la cámara de calentamiento; y un ventilador colocado para proporcionar gas caliente en la cámara de distribución de aire superior, en donde el gas sale de la cámara de distribución de aire superior a través de las aberturas dentro de la cámara de calentamiento de manera que es sustancialmente dirigida hacia la bandeja de alimentos.
