Abstract
La invención proporciona un sistema para el tratamiento de aguas residuales. Un sistema de bombeo bombea las aguas residuales desde una cuenca de origen a una cuenca receptora, mientras un conducto permite el flujo gravitacional del agua desde una cuenca de origen a una cuenca receptora cuando el sistema de bombeo está inactivo. Un controlador activa el sistema de bombeo para bombear el agua residual desde la cuenca de origen a una cuenca receptora cuando un nivel de aguas residuales en la cuenca de origen está a una primera altura predeterminada o cuando una tasa de flujo gravitacional de agua residual desde la cuenca de origen hacia la cuenca receptora está por debajo de una primera tasa de flujo predeterminada. El controlador también apaga el sistema de bombeo cuando el nivel de agua en la cuenca de origen está a un nivel mínimo de cuenca de origen y el nivel del agua en la cuenca receptora está a un nivel máximo de cuenca receptora. La invención también proporciona un método para operar un tratamiento de aguas residuales de la invención, y un sistema de bombeo para su uso en el sistema de la invención.
