Abstract
Se proporcionan métodos para producir aceites de pirólisis derivados de biomasa bajos en oxígeno. Los aceites de pirólisis derivados de biomasa iniciales se desoxigenan exponiendo el aceite derivado de biomasa a un primer catalizador en la presencia de gas que contiene hidrógeno a primeras condiciones de hidroprocesado, para producir aceites de pirólisis derivados de biomasa parcialmente desoxigenados. El primer catalizador posee un soporte de catalizador neutro. Se exponen los aceites de pirólisis derivados de biomasa parcialmente desoxigenados a un segundo catalizador en presencia de gas que contiene hidrógeno adicional a segundas condiciones de hidroprocesado, para producir un hidrocarburo producto. Los aceites de pirólisis derivados de biomasa pueden esterificarse antes de la desoxigenación. Se recicla una porción de los aceites de pirólisis derivados de biomasa bajos en oxígeno.
