Abstract

Se divulga un artículo de un asiento el cual es particularmente conveniente para uso de pacientes bariátricos. El mobiliario incluye una parte de asiento que consta de un área frontal del asiento y un área trasera del asiento. El área frontal del asiento se define mediante una superficie de perímetro frontal generalmente semi-elíptica mientras que el área trasera del asiento se define mediante una diferente superficie de perímetro trasera generalmente semi-elíptica. El área de la superficie de la parte frontal del asiento es menor que el área de la superficie de la parte trasera del asiento para así proporcionar al paciente bariátrico una mejor entrada y salida. El asiento incluye un respaldo y dos pares de patas de soporte que mejoran aún más la conveniencia del mobiliario para un paciente bariátrico.
