Abstract
En un Sistema de Localización Inalámbrico (WLS) desplegado en conexión con un sistema de comunicaciones inalámbrico basado en CDMA, se usan Unidades de Medición de la Localización para recoger señalización de radio corrompida por el multitrayecto para uso en métodos de posicionamiento de diferencia en el tiempo de llegada (TDOA) e híbridos. Las técnicas de procesamiento de la señal se usan para mejorar la capacidad del WLS para determinar el componente multitrayecto mínimamente retardado en el tiempo y de ese modo incrementar la precisión de la localización TDOA en sistemas de comunicaciones inalámbricos basados en CDMA. El procesamiento de la señal incluye una técnica de filtrado para reducir los lóbulos laterales de entrada de la función de correlación cruzada así como un procedimiento de descubrimiento del frente de entrada.
