Abstract

La invención se refiere a un método para producir ácido cianhídrico por deshidratación catalítica de formamida gaseosa en un reactor tubular que comprende por lo menos un canal de reacción en donde ocurre la deshidratación catalítica, en donde el canal de reacción comprende una superficie interna hecha de un material que tiene una porción de hierro de = 50% en peso, y ningún catalizador y/o componentes incorporados están presentes en el canal de reacción, y el por lo menos un canal de reacción tiene un diámetro hidráulico medio de 0.5 a 6 mm. La invención además se refiere a un reactor que tiene las características mencionadas antes y el uso del reactor de conformidad con la invención para producir ácido cianhídrico por deshidratación catalítica de formamida gaseosa.
