Abstract
Se divulga un método para procesar una señal. La presente invención incluye la recepción de por lo menso una primera señal y una segunda señal, obtener información de modo e información de bandera de modificación que indica sí o no la primera señal es modificada, si se determina como un esquema de codificación de audio de conformidad con la información de modo, decodificar la primera señal mediante el esquema de codificación de audio, si la primera señal es modificada con base en la información de bandera de modificación, reconstruir la primera señal mediante la aplicación de información de reconstrucción de modificación a la primera señal, determinar una señal de base de extensión que corresponde a una región parcial de la primera señal con base en información de extensión, y generar una señal de reducción extendida que tiene una anchura de banda extendida mediante la reconstrucción de una señal de región de alta frecuencia utilizando la señal de base de extensión y la información de extensión. De conformidad con un método y aparato de procesamiento de señales de la presente invención, después de la codificación de una primera señal por un primer esquema de codificación, la primera señal es ajustada utilizando información de reconstrucción de modificación para reconstruir la primera señal modificada en el dominio de tiempo en la realización de la codificación. Por consiguiente, se puede proporcionar una señal mejorada en cuanto a eficiencia de codificación.
