Abstract

The present invention refers to a hauling system and process for laying and burying submarine oil and gas pipelines, which is characterised in that it comprises: a floating arrangement with a pontoon fastened above the oil and gas pipeline with a plurality of circumference-shaped tensioned steel straps located lengthwise the oil and gas pipeline and a counterweight arrangement formed by structural arms laid at each outer side of the oil gas pipeline, the counterweights being vertically enchained and hung from the end portions of the arms and arranged at a predetermined distance lengthwise the oil and gas pipeline; the aforementioned cables are longitudinally laid at the inner portion of the straps, which once the oil and gas pipeline is placed, the cable is hauled and the straps cut so as to release the floating assembly; a dredging subsystem; altimeters, means for transmitting submarine positions based on submarine GPS and video cameras arranged at a predetermined distance and connected to a CPU with visual monitoring elements; hauling and braking means and a subsystem for injecting air at pressure to the floating arrangement.
