Abstract

La invención se relaciona con un método para controlar la solubilidad del material granular al tratar un precipitado que comprende sulfato de hierro (II) monohidratado que proviene de la producción de dióxido de titanio, en cuyo método, la temperatura de reacción aumenta cuanto mucho a una temperatura de 120ºC, con una instalación para tratar un precipitado que comprende sulfato de hierro (II) monohidratado, con un producto y sus usos. Un método común según la invención comprende las etapas de mezclar agua en la mezcla de reacción en la mezcladora, y mantener una suficiente cantidad de agente neutralizante para proporcionarle un valor de pH de 1.5 a 4, preferentemente de 1.5 a 3 al producto final a fin de obtener un material granular que tiene un elevado contenido de hierro (II) soluble o mantener una suficiente cantidad de agente neutralizante para proporcionarle un valor de pH ( 9 al producto final a fin de obtener un material granular con baja solubilidad.
