Abstract
Un método para reducir la interferencia entre celdas (ICI) en un sistema de comunicación móvil, por medio del cual se controla la potencia de la señal de transmisión de enlace ascendente de una terminal, con base en la medición de la potencia de la señal recibida desde una estación base de una celda vecina. Una terminal recibe una señal desde una estación base de una celda vecina a través de un canal inalámbrico; mide la respuesta del canal contra un valor umbral a lo largo de una banda de frecuencia que se pueda aplicar, mediante el uso de la señal recibida; determina la potencia de una señal de transmisión para cada banda de frecuencia que se usó para la transmisión, con base en la respuesta medida del canal y transmite los datos a una estación base de una celda local, según la potencia de la señal de transmisión para cada banda de frecuencia. La terminal puede medir la respuesta de un canal con base en las señales que recibe de varias estaciones base en muchas celdas vecinas. Asimismo, puede valuar la potencia de la señal transmitida desde la celda local.
