Abstract

Se describe un material de envase activo antioxidante, flexible o rígido, preferiblemente para alimentos o productos susceptibles a algún tipo de oxidación, consistente en un sistema que promueve la migración del compuesto activo hacia el producto envasado durante su almacenamiento o comercialización, sustituyendo la adición de antioxidantes directos y extendiendo su vida de anaquel. El material está conformado por (89% de polímero base, 2-10% en peso de un tocoferol antioxidante y 0.1-1.0% en peso de cualquier modificador de superficie cuyo uso como aditivo en contacto con alimentos esté aprobado por la FDA.
