Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método para determinar la concentración de producto de análisis presente en una muestra de fluido biológico contenido en una celda electroquímica equipada con un juego de electrodos, el método comprende los pasos de: a) formar un complejo electroactivo que contiene un producto de análisis antigénico ligado químicamente a una molécula portador, la molécula portadora está también ligada químicamente a una molécula electroactiva capaz de transferir una carga al electrodo, b) añadir el fluido biológico, cantidades predeterminadas del complejo electroactivo y un anticuerpo al producto de análisis a la celda, c) aplicar un voltaje a través de los electrodos y medir la corriene en el fluído a niveles de voltaje diferentes para formar una relación de voltaje/corriente para el fluído de la muestra, y d) comparar la relación de voltaje, corriente para el fluído de muestra con relaciones normales de voltaje/corriente que se generan usando cantidades conocidas de productos de análisis para determinar la concentración del producto de análisis presente de la muestra.
