Abstract
La presente invención serefiere a procedimiento para la obtención de dicromato sódico y de soluciones de dicromato sódico mediante digestión alcalina oxidante de minerales de cromo, el procedimiento está caracterizado porque la solución de monocromato sódico se consentra por evaporación, antes de la transformación en una solución de dicromato sódico, a contenidos de 700 a 1000 g/litro de Na2CrO4, se transforman a continuación los iones monocromato en un 75 a un 95 por ciento en iones dicromato, la solución se libera a continuación, mediante refrigeración hasta una temperatura situada por debajo de 0gradosC y filtración, en una gran proporción de sulfato sódico y en la solución remanente se transforman los iones monocromato residuales mediante electrolisis y/o mediante reacción con ácido crómico y/o reacción con dióxido de carbono en caso dado tras concentración por evaporación de la solución, en iones dicromato.
