Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un dispositivo para desmenuzar material en hojas, que comprende: primera y segunda flechas paralelas montadas para rotación en direcciones opuestas, una primera pluralidad de discos fijados en la primera flecha para rotación con la misma y separados a intervalos a lo largo de la longitud de la primera flecha; una segunda pluralidad de discos fijados en la segunda flecha para rotación con la misma y separados a intervalos a lo largo de la longitud de la segunda flecha para intercalarse con la primera pluralidad de discos; cada uno de los discos forma cuchillas desmenuzadoras periféricas; por lo menos una muesca formada en la periferia de cada disco, cada una de las muescas se hace más angosta hacia la periferia de cada disco para formar porciones puntiagudas opuestas.
