Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a pigmento nacarado, resistente a la intemperie caracterizado porque comprende hojuelas de mica revestidas con un óxido de metal como material base a) óxido de circonio hidratado formado por hidrólisis de un compuesto circonilo en la presencia de un hipofosfito y b) óxido (u óxidos) de metal hidratado (s) formado por hidrólisis de un compuesto o compuestos solubles en agua de al menos un miembro seleccionado del grupo que consiste de cobalto, manganeso y cerio, los componentes a y b son depositados sobre la superficie del material base.
