Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición adhesiva termofusionable, sensible a la presión, caracterizada porque consiste de un copolímero que consiste esencialmente de monómeros copolimerizados a, b y c, de la siguiente manera: a) de aproximadamente 82 a 92 por ciento en peso de un ester de ácido acrílico o metacrílico de un alcohol no terciario, teniendo el alcohol de 1 a 14 átomos de carbono con un número promedio de átomos de carbono siendo de aproximadamente 4 a 12; b) de aproximadamente 2 a 5 por ciento en peso de un monómero polar copolimerizable con el ester de ácido acrílico o metacrílico monomerico; y c) de aproximadamente 2 a 15 por ciento en peso de un monómero macromolecular de metacrilato de 2-poliestiriletilo; y una cantidad suficiente de carboxilato de zinc para prestar a la composición propiedades de flujo de fusión mejoradas y resistencia cohesiva mejorada.
