Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para fabricar un material base de cinta fibrosa estirable,que tiene superficies con homogeneidad superficial mejoradas, caracterizado porque comprende las etapas de; a) formar una trama fibrosa húmeda, b) deshumidificar parcialmente la trama a un valor entre aproximadamente 30 a 50 por ciento de sólidos; c) transportar la trama deshumidificada parcialmente en un cilindro con superficie homogenea a un punto de sujeción por compresión, definido por el cilindro con superficie homogenea hy un material de tela con superficie homogenea; d) mover el material de tela a una velocidad aproximadamente 10 a 20 por ciento menor que la velocidad superficial del cilindro con superficie homogenea, e) comprimir la trama en el punto de sujeción forzando el material de tela contra la trama en el cilindro con superficie homogenea para transferir directamente la trama desde el cilindro al material, el material de tela se comprime contra la trama con una fuerza de compresión inferior a 2.68 Kg/cm lineal (15 lbs/pulgada lineal) y la presión promedio es inferior a 3.515 Kg/cm2 (50 psi) en el punto de sujeción por compresión, la trama se comprime adicionalmente en la dirección de máquina por la diferencia en velocidad entre el material de tela y la superficie del cilindro; y f) secar la trama, la trama seca tiene una masa aparente inferior a .44 pununto de calibre/Kg (.20 puntos de calibre /1b) por resma
