Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método para convertir metano en productos de hidrocarburo superiores, en donde una mezcla de gas que consiste de metano y un oxidante gaseoso se pone en contacto con un agente de contacto sólido a las condiciones de reacción, caracterizado porque: i) se hace pasar la mezcla de gas a una temperatura por lo menos de 100 grados C, menor que la temperatura de reacción hacia un lecho delgado del reactor adiabático que contiene el agente de contacto sólido, ii) se calienta la mezcla de gas a la temperatura de reacción en el lecho, mediante el flujo conductivo de calor generado por la reacción axialmente a través del lecho en contra-corriente con respecto al flujo de la mezcla de gas, y iii) se separa una mezcla de gas de reacción que contiene los hidrocarburos superiores desde el lecho.
