Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a el método para producir polvo de hexahidrato de tripolifosfato de sodio, caracterizado por hidratar tripolifosfato de sodio anhidro que tiene un tamaño de partículas tal que cuando menos el 85 por ciento en peso es menor que 150 con suficiente agua para proporcionar no más del 105 por ciento de la cantidad teórica de agua para formar el hexahidrato, secar el hexahidrato de tripolifosfato de sodio para eliminar substancialmente toda el agua no combinada y, mantener las etapas de hidratación y secado a menos de 80 grados C, para de esta manera producir un polvo de hexahidrato de tripolifosfato de sodio tal que cuando menos el 50 por ciento en peso es menor de 150.
