Abstract

The invention relates to microbiology and biotechnology, and can be used in agriculture for the control of Lymantria genus lepidopterans.The strain of Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. kurstaki bacteria, isolated from natural environment, is deposited in the National Collection of Nonpathogenic Microorganisms with the number CNMN-BB-04 and can be used for the production of bioinsecticides.The strain of Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. kurstaki CNMN-BB-04 bacteria exhibits pronounced insecticidal activity against Lymantria genus lepidopterans.
