Abstract
The invention relates to the tobacco industry, in particular to processes for stringing tobacco leaves onto a double needle.The process for stringing tobacco leaves onto a double needle includes the orientated arrangement of tobacco leaves into the accumulation mechanism, fixation, piercing and stringing of tobacco leaves onto a double needle, removal thereof from the accumulation mechanism and uniform distribution onto the double needle.Novelty of the invention consists in that piercing and stringing of tobacco leaves onto the double needle is carried out with the help of a jig, consisting of two parallel coupled tubular needles, having the interaxis distance equal to the interaxis distance of the double needle, then the double needle is introduced into the jig, afterwards the jig is removed so that the leaves may remain onto the double needle.
