Cylinder lock with flat key

The invention relates to a cylinder lock with a cylinder core, in which a row of core pins is slidably arranged in radially directed bores, with a key channel, which is arranged along the row of core pins, and with the bores for the core pins, and with a Flat key, which can be inserted into the key channel, with the base surfaces of locking notches formed in its shaft, the end faces of the core pins facing the key channel and thus releasing the cylinder core for rotation by arranging the core pins, the base surfaces of the locking notches being inclined at an acute angle to the plane of movement of the core pins.

The acute-angled position of the base of the locking notches offers the advantage of an additional variation component with regard to the locking combinations to be achieved.

The object of the invention is based on the object of further developing a generic cylinder lock with a flat key in such a way that the locking combinations are increased.

This object is achieved in that the inclined position of the individual base areas of a key is different from one another.

As a result of such a configuration, the achievable number of locking combinations is increased. A wide variety of variations can be achieved with regard to the inclined course of the base areas of the locking notches. For example, the inclined positions of all locking notches can have a different angle. The inclined positions are preferably graded by 5 degrees, namely between 5 and 30 degrees. In this way, six options are available for each individual locking notch that affect the inclination.

An advantageous embodiment is realized in that the angles of inclination of individual base areas are different in size from one another. In this case, the additional lock combination that can be achieved is achieved by the different course of the inclination angles.

A further increase in the locking combination can be achieved in that the angles of inclination of individual base surfaces are directed opposite to each other. Unauthorized reproduction of the "key is therefore very difficult. Even slight deviations in the angle of inclination of the base surfaces and the corresponding alignment lead to the lock being locked out.

Finally, it proves to be an advantage that the roof-shaped, non-rotatable tumbler pins of the cylinder core with their ridge edge have a course adapted to the angle of inclination of the base surfaces. So the ridge edge and the base of the closing notch must complement each other exactly. Even slight deviations from one another prevent the cylinder core from closing. The non-rotatability of the core pins means that they always take the correct position with respect to the locking notches and lead to trouble-free functioning of the cylinder lock. The key channel of the cylinder core can also lie in the same direction in the plane of movement of the pins.

The flat key 1 shown can be inserted into a cylinder core 3 having the corresponding key channel 2. The latter »sits in a cylinder housing 4 of a symmetrically constructed double lock cylinder. The right housing half 4 ′ and the left housing half 4 ″ are connected to one another via a material bridge 5.

Axially aligned bores 6 are provided in the housing halves 4 ′, 4 ″, in which the cylinder cores 3 are rotatably supported. Between the two housing halves 41, 4 ″, a hub 9 carrying the locking bit 8 is arranged in a cutout 7 of the cylinder housing 4.

The associated flat key 1, consisting of reed 10 and shaft 11, is provided with locking notches 13 on its narrow side facing the core pins 12. These extend one behind the other and each have the key incisions defined for a specific cylinder lock. With the proper flat key, the core pins 12 of the cylinder core 3 are shifted so far that their rear end, which comes against coaxially inserted housing pins 15, lies exactly in the joint between the cylinder core and the housing inner wall. Housing pins 15 are under the action of pin springs 17 embedded in blind bores 16, which press the core pins 12 against the notch base surfaces 18 when the flat key 1 is inserted.

The core pins 12 are non-rotatably arranged in the cylinder core. For this purpose, each core pin 12 is equipped with a cross pin 20 projecting beyond the outer surface of the core pin, which leads in a corresponding crescent-shaped groove 21 of the cylinder core 3. The core pins 12 could also be rotated via a corresponding cross-sectional profile, in such a way that a non-circular outline of the core pins is selected.

4 and 5 illustrate that the base surfaces 18a, 18b, 18c and 18d have a different angle of inclination. The angles of inclination are at an acute angle to the plane E-E through the key shaft. It can be seen that the base surfaces 18a, 18b and 18d are aligned, but have a different angle. The base area 18c, however, is directed opposite to the aforementioned base areas.
