Abstract

본 발명은 광디스크의 기록용량을 감소시키지 않으면서 서브신호 및 데이타 신호와 함께 어드레스 정보를 광디스크에 기록하여 광디스크로부터 원하는 데이타의 억세스를 용이하게 하는 광디스크 기록포맷에 관한 것이다.
상기 광디스크 기록포맷을 데이타를 기록하기 위한 데이타영역들을 광디스크의 트랙을 따라 배열되도록 한다. 그리고 데이타영역들간의 사이에는 복합신호를 저장하기 위한 복합신호영역들이 위치한다. 복합신호는 데이타영역들의 번지를 나타내는 어드레스정보와 서브의 제어를 위해 사용될 서브신호가 합성됨에 의해 발생된다.

Claims (2)

  1. 정보가 광학적으로 기록되는 광디스크에 있어서, 데이타를 기록하기 위해 트랙을 따라 형성된 데이타영역들과, 서보신호 및 어드레스 정보를 복합한 복합신호를 기록하기 위해 상기 트랙을 따라 상기 데이타영역들과 교번적으로 배열된 복합신호영역들을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 광디스크 기록포맷.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 데이타영역은 메인트랙을 따라 기록된 기록피트들을 구비하고, 상기 복합신호영역은 메인트랙으로부터 각각 일정거리만큼 이격된 보조 트랙들에 인접한 기록피트들을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 광디스크 기록포맷.
