Abstract
본 발명은 자동차용 엔진의 과냉각 방지장치에 관한 것으로, 실린더헤드물재킷(4)과 상부호스(5)의 접합부에서 하부호스(6)에 이르도록 재순환호스(8)가 연통되고, 이 재순환호스(8)과 하부호스(6)의 접합부에 서머스탯(9)이 내설되어 냉각수의 수온이 적정수온 이하로 낮아지게 되면 엔진의 물재킷(3,4)내로 유동되면서 가열된 냉각수가 상기 재순환호스(8) 및 서머스탯(9)을 통해 물재킷(3,4)내로 재유동되면서 엔진 실린더(2)등의 과냉각을 방지하도록 되어 엔진효율 및 윤활효율을 향상시킬 수 있도록 된 것이다.The present invention relates to a supercooling preventing device for an automotive engine, wherein the recycling hose (8) communicates with the recycling hose (8) so as to reach the lower hose (6) at the junction of the cylinder head water jacket (4) and the upper hose (5).
