본 발명은 토출되는 공기의 풍향각도를 조절하여 실내온도를 쾌적하게 유지하는 공기조화기의 풍향제어장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로써, 흡입구가 형성된 하부캐비넷과, 상기 하부캐비넷의 상측에 회전가능케 설치되어 열교환된 공기를 토출하는 토출구가 형성된 상부캐비넷과, 상기 상부캐비넷을 회전시키도록 키이신호를 입력하는 운전조작수단과, 상기 운전조작수단에 의해 입력된 키이신호에 따라 상기 상부캐비넷의 회전동작을 제어하는 제어수단과, 상기 제어수단의 제어에 따라 토출공기의 풍향각도를 조절하도록 상기 상부캐비넷을 회전시키는 구동수단과, 상기 구동수단에 의해 회전되는 상기 상부캐비넷의 위치를 감지하는 위치감지수단으로 이루어진 것으로, 토출구가 형성된 상부캐비넷을 좌우로 회전시켜 토출공기의 풍향조절범위를 넓게하여 실내전체 온도를 쾌적하게 유지할 수 있다.The present invention relates to an air conditioner control method and apparatus for an air conditioner that comfortably maintains a room temperature by adjusting a wind direction angle of air to be discharged.
